This gearset improves the cycle speed of your AEG by adjusting the gear ratio between the motor and piston. With a 16:1 ratio, your motor makes fewer revolutions per shot compared to standard 18:1 sets, resulting in a higher rate of fire. You use an airsoft gearset when you want to enhance the response and trigger response of your replica, or when your current gears are worn out from use during skirms.

Technical specifications

The Balystik gearset consists of three steel gears with a black surface treatment. Each gear is CNC-machined for precise tolerances and smooth operation within your gearbox. The bevel gear features anti-reversal latch cams that prevent your gears from reversing when the cycle is interrupted. The integrated 3mm shafts ensure stable mounting without the need for additional bushings or bearings. The total weight is 80 grams.

Compatibility and application

This gearset fits V2, V3, and V6 gearboxes and works with springs up to M120 strength. The 16:1 ratio makes this set suitable for mid-speed to high-speed builds where fast semi-auto response is desired. Installation requires experience with opening your gearbox, correctly shimming the gears, and adjusting the motor height.
