The Air Venturi Long Shotshells are a unique type of air rifle ammunition specifically developed for situations where controlled spread is required. With a caliber of 12.7mm and 167 grain of #8 shot per shell, these shotshells create an effective spread pattern of approximately 30 cm at a distance of 18 metres. This makes them suitable for powerful PCP air rifles from 300 joules that are equipped for .50 caliber ammunition.

These shotshells perform best in PCP systems with sufficient power to effectively propel the heavy 167 grain load. The projectile consists of multiple small pellets that disperse after leaving the barrel. At short distances up to around 20 metres, you maintain a consistent spread, making this ammunition particularly suitable for specific applications where a single projectile would be less effective. The lead construction ensures sufficient mass per individual pellet.
