ASTER SX Expert V2 + Quantum Trigger – for your replica

This trigger unit is an advanced ETU (Electronic Trigger Unit) for AEG replicas with V2 gearboxes. The system replaces your mechanical trigger contacts with electronic circuits, improving your trigger response and giving you more control over the firing functions. The ASTER SX is specially developed for players who want to upgrade their AEG trigger without fully replacing the gearbox. In addition to the ETU, the package also includes a Quantum Trigger for maximum adjustability of your trigger pull.

Technical specifications

The unit consists of a 1mm thick PCB with a multi-layer construction for minimal interference. The system weighs 23.35 grams and has dimensions of 43.8 x 28.7 x 7.7 mm. The black finish fits seamlessly into your gearbox. The ETU supports battery voltages from 3.75V to 12.9V with a nominal current of 30A. Power consumption is 23mA during use and only 288µA in standby mode. The front wire configuration allows connection at the front of your replica.

Compatibility and application

This trigger unit is designed for V2 gearboxes and supports both standard and brushless motors. The ASTER SX fits builds with strong springs and higher stress configurations thanks to its robust design. Installation requires experience with gearbox assembly and electronics. The system offers selector modes (SAFE-SEMI-BINARY), Active Brake and Pre-Cocking functions. Via the GCS App, you can perform firmware updates and set up to 60 different trigger sensitivity levels for the first millimetre of your trigger movement.
