The Shogun team especially appreciates the sturdy aluminium construction of the Cardinal. This red dot sight feels robust and can take a hit – exactly what you need during intensive airsoft sessions. The dual mounting options make it extra versatile, although we do miss the parallax-free feature that more expensive models offer.

Technology and optical performance

The Cardinal offers you the choice between a red or green dot, each with 7 brightness settings. This gives you optimal flexibility: red for standard daylight, green for better visibility in bright sunlight or green environments. The sight is powered by a CR2032 battery, which is included.

The aluminium housing ensures durability without adding much weight. Important to know: this sight is not parallax-free, which means the position of your eye relative to the sight affects where the dot appears to point. For airsoft use this is usually not an issue, but it is good to keep in mind.

Mounting and compatibility

This red dot sight comes with two different mounts for Picatinny rails – this is the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles. You receive both a high and a low mount, allowing you to choose what best suits your setup. The high mount is ideal if you also want to use iron sights, while the low mount provides a more compact profile.
