The Shogun team is impressed by the build quality of this Crossfire II. The aircraft-grade aluminium feels solid, and the fully multi-coated lenses deliver a surprisingly clear image for this price range. The reset turrets make adjusting the rifle scope easy, even for novice users.

Technology and optical performance

The 3-9x50 configuration means you can switch between 3x magnification for a wide field of view and 9x for detailed long-distance observation. The 50 mm objective lens gathers plenty of light, resulting in a bright image. The BDC reticle (Bullet Drop Compensator) assists with compensating for projectile trajectory at various distances. This rifle scope has a fixed parallax setting and operates as a Second Focal Plane scope – the reticle remains the same size at all magnifications.

With a weight of 510 grams and a length of 32.5 cm, this rifle scope is not too heavy but still robust. The 1 inch (25.4 mm) tube diameter is compatible with most standard mounting rings. For illumination, the V-Brite reticle uses a CR2032 battery.
