R9 Cobra System 90 lbs | EK Archery – compact crossbow for recreational shooters
This recurve crossbow from EK Archery combines a powerful draw weight of 90 lbs with a thoughtfully compact design. The R9 Cobra System stands out thanks to its underlever system, allowing you to cock the crossbow with just 45 lbs of force. With a velocity of 73 MPS and the use of fibreglass limb material, this crossbow provides a solid foundation for recreational shooting at the archery range or in your own back garden.

The underlever design of this crossbow makes cocking surprisingly light. Whereas traditional crossbows often require significant force, the R9 Cobra only needs half the draw weight to be ready to shoot. The polymer frame keeps the weight down, which is especially pleasant during longer shooting sessions. The magazine capacity of 1 arrow means you need to reload after each shot, but this contributes to a controlled and safe shooting experience. The crossbow is suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters.
Technology and construction
The combination of a polymer frame with fibreglass limbs ensures a good balance between power and weight. With 90 lbs draw weight, this crossbow delivers enough energy for accurate shots at short to medium range. The included 6x 7.5" carbon arrows have a weight of 155 grains and are equipped with field points, polymer moon nocks and 2 polymer fletchings for stable flight. String wax is also included for essential maintenance of the bowstring.
