The Shogun team is impressed by the thoughtful construction of these Hawke mounting rings. The double hex screws ensure a rock-solid attachment, while the built-in recoil stop protects your rifle scope from the typical double recoil of powerful air rifles. That’s a smart solution we don’t see with every mount.

Technology and construction

These mounting rings are made from sturdy aluminium with a matte black finish that prevents unwanted reflections. Weighing only 102 grams for the complete set of two rings, they add hardly any weight to your setup. The height of 5.1 cm provides enough clearance for objectives up to approximately 44mm in diameter.

The tube diameter of 1 inch (25.4mm) is a common size for rifle scopes used on air rifles. Inside, you’ll find protective cushion tape that prevents your scope from being scratched during mounting or use.

Mounting and compatibility

These mounting rings use a Dovetail attachment, which is often used on traditional air rifles with an 11 mm rail – ideal for precise aiming devices. The clever feature of these Hawke mounts is that the dovetail clamp is reversible, making them suitable for 3/8" rails as well.

The set includes two mounting rings that together form a complete mounting solution for your rifle scope. The screw-in recoil stop is an important detail that prevents your rifle scope from shifting under the influence of recoil.
