Our opinion on this rifle scope

The Shogun team especially appreciates the solid build quality of this Vantage. The 1 inch tube diameter fits almost any standard mount, and with a weight of just 402 grams, it does not feel too heavy on your replica or air rifle. The optics are surprisingly clear for this price range, thanks to the 11-layer coating on the lenses.

Technology and optical performance

With a 40mm objective lens, this rifle scope gathers enough light for a clear image, even at dusk. The 3-9x magnification makes it versatile: at 3x you have a wide field of view of 13 metres at 100 metres for quick target acquisition, while 9x gives you a field of view of 4.2 metres for precision work at distance. The eye relief of 90mm is comfortable and safe, even with powerful recoil.

The Mil Dot reticle is located in the second focal plane (SFP), which means the dimensions of the reticle remain constant at different magnifications. The turrets have a click value of 1/4 MOA and are capped to prevent unwanted adjustment. With a maximum adjustment range of 100 MOA for both elevation and windage, you have more than enough adjustment options.

Mounting and compatibility

This rifle scope has a 1 inch (25.4mm) tube diameter, the most common size for mounting rings. This makes it compatible with almost all Picatinny and Weaver rails found on airsoft replicas and modern air rifles. For traditional air rifles with an 11mm dovetail rail, suitable mounting rings with adapters are available. Please note: the mount is not included, so choose a suitable ring set for your rail system.
