GAMO Hunter AccuTek – lightweight pellets for versatile applications

The GAMO Hunter AccuTek pellets are a further development in GAMO’s product line. With a caliber of 4.5mm and a weight of 7.6 grain, these belong to the lighter air rifle ammunition. The domed pellet shape makes these pellets suitable for various shooting disciplines where stability and consistency are important. Thanks to the new lead alloy and improved production methods, these projectiles offer an optimal fit in the barrel of both spring-powered and CO₂-powered air rifles.

Our experience from the Shogun team

In practice, we find that these AccuTek pellets perform particularly well at distances up to around 50 metres. The light weight of 7.6 grain ensures a flat trajectory in air rifles with a power output between 25 and 30 joules. The improved aerodynamics and repositioned centre of mass contribute to stable flight characteristics, resulting in tighter groupings on the target. This consistency makes them interesting for both recreational shooting and competition use.

Technical properties in practice

With a content of 500 pieces per package and a domed shape, these pellets offer a good balance between penetration and stability. The lead material features a new, more ductile alloy that ensures better deformation when passing through the choke and rifling. This results in improved sealing and therefore a more consistent muzzle velocity. The caliber of 4.5mm makes them compatible with the most common air rifles on the market.
