Materials and finish of this katana

The blade is crafted from 1045 carbon steel that has been folded 12 times during the forging process. The blade length is 73 cm in traditional Shinogi-zukuri style with groove (bo-hi). The handle is wrapped with red cotton in Hineri maki style and finished with genuine black ray skin for an authentic look.
