Our experience with the Katran B

When testing the Katran B, we were immediately impressed by the build quality. The weight of 2.66 kg feels perfectly balanced, especially thanks to the ergonomic AR15-style grip. The side lever operates smoothly and the two-stage trigger system is externally adjustable – a detail that advanced shooters will appreciate. What is particularly striking is how compact this air rifle becomes when you fold the stock: from 910 mm down to just 684 mm.

Technology and performance

As a PCP system, the Katran B operates with a 480 cc air reservoir that can be filled up to 300 bar. This delivers impressive performance: up to 32 Joules in 5.5mm calibre. The 400 mm CZ barrel with a 1/17.7 twist guarantees excellent precision. Use and operation

The Katran B feels familiar from the very first moment. The AR15-style safety catch and the adjustable cocking lever can be mounted on either the left or right side – perfect for both left- and right-handed shooters.
