In practice, the MK-185BK immediately feels familiar. The draw weight of 185 lbs sounds heavy, but with the included cocking aid you can cock it effortlessly with approximately 93 lbs of force. The balance is excellent due to the weight of 2436 grams – heavy enough for stability, yet still easy to handle during longer shooting sessions. The polymer grips feel comfortable in the hand and the sturdy foot stirrup makes the cocking process safe and efficient.

Technology and construction

The core of this crossbow consists of an aluminium barrel with fibreglass limbs measuring 65.4 cm wide. This material combination ensures durability and consistent performance. The 20 mm Picatinny rail provides space for the included red dot sight or other optics of your choice. With dimensions of 84.5 cm in length and 65.4 cm in width, this is a full-size crossbow suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters. The magazine holds 4 arrows, and the crossbow is designed for 16 inch (40 cm) arrows.
