During our last bushcraft weekend, the Butcher stood out for its powerful chopping action when preparing kindling. The wide cleaver blade performed surprisingly well, although we noticed that finer cutting tasks require a bit more precision.

The 3Cr13 stainless steel blade offers good cutting performance for the price. This Chinese steel is easy to sharpen and stays reasonably sharp with normal use. The blade length of 8.3 cm with satin finish cuts effortlessly through rope, food, and thin wood, making it perfect for camping tasks.

With a weight of 118 grams, this knife sits comfortably in the hand without being too heavy. The linerlock mechanism operates smoothly and safely. The camouflage pattern provides extra grip, although we would have liked a bit more texture for wet conditions.
