During testing in the workshop, the Hawkbill shape proved perfect for cutting packaging tape and rope. The curved edge draws material in, which works especially well with wet rope. Its light weight of 159 grams is barely noticeable in your pocket.

The 3Cr13 material is an entry-level steel that comes razor-sharp out of the box. This stainless steel requires little maintenance but does need to be sharpened regularly to maintain optimal performance. The blade length of 88.9mm with a plain-edge grind cuts effortlessly through rope, cardboard, and food.

The linerlock mechanism keeps the blade securely in place during use. With a folded length of 120.7mm, this knife fits perfectly in any pocket. The opening mechanism operates smoothly, although one-handed opening is somewhat more difficult due to the karambit design.
