During our field test, the fast opening stood out thanks to the spring-assisted mechanism. The knife opened smoothly, although we noticed the spring became a bit stiffer after intensive use. The pocket clip remained firmly in place, even during a challenging walk.

The 3Cr13 stainless steel is a reliable choice for beginners – it stays reasonably sharp and is easy to sharpen. This steel performs well when cutting rope, cardboard, and food. For heavier tasks such as working with wood, you will need to sharpen it more often than with premium steels. The blade finish is bead blasted for extra durability.

Grip and ease of use

The handle combines stainless steel with a tan nylon fibre overlay, providing a solid ergonomic grip. The locking system (liner lock) works intuitively and safely. The opening mechanism allows for one-handed opening via the thumb stud.
