The Shogun team is enthusiastic about the improved visibility provided by the larger lens. Especially when switching between shooting positions or if you are not perfectly stable, you noticeably find the dot more quickly. The 8MOA dot is nice and large and clearly visible, perfect for rapid target acquisition.

Technology and optical performance

This red dot sight features 1x magnification and is completely parallax-free, meaning your target is always exactly where the dot indicates, regardless of your eye position. The crystal-clear hardened glass lens ensures a clear view without distortion. The housing is made of robust aluminium with a matte black finish.

This sight is powered by a CR2032 battery. Shield Sights has optimised the electronics so that users have fired more than 70,000 shots without reliability issues – now that’s durability!

Mounting and compatibility

The mounting type is specified as Other – this sight uses the well-known Shield RMS footprint.
