During a weekend trip, we tested this knife extensively. The circular handle felt unfamiliar at first, but offered surprisingly good control when cutting rope and preparing meals. In wet conditions, the grip remained stable.

The 7Cr17MoV steel is a Chinese steel type that is highly corrosion-resistant and easy to sharpen. The combo-edge combines a plain edge with a serrated section, ideal for cutting rope, wood and food. The droppoint blade of 7.6 cm is razor-sharp straight out of the box.

Grip and ease of use

The open aluminium frame makes this pocket knife pleasantly lightweight at 130 grams. The linerlock securely locks the blade during use. The circular design offers extra stability, although it may feel a bit large for smaller hands. The knife can be opened one-handed.
