We tested the Void during various outdoor activities. The karambit ring provides excellent grip, even with wet hands. Its compact size makes it ideal for carrying in your pocket, although we did miss a pocket clip for quicker access.

Performance and sharpness of this karambit knife

The 3Cr13 steel with a hardness of 56 HRC delivers solid cutting performance for everyday tasks. This stainless steel is easy to maintain and retains its sharpness reasonably well. The spearpoint shape with plain edge grind cuts smoothly through rope, cardboard, and food. For heavier work, we recommend a harder steel.

Grip and ease of use

The karambit ring ensures excellent control and prevents the knife from slipping out of your hand. Weighing 120 grams, it is pleasantly lightweight. The absence of an opening mechanism means you need two hands to remove the knife from the supplied polymer sheath.
