In practice, we find that these Umarex BBs perform very consistently in various air pistols. The smooth steel surface ensures smooth feeding in the airgun magazine, preventing malfunctions. The round shape does offer less precision than pellets at longer distances, but for reactive shooting at cans or spinners they are perfect. Please note that steel BBs can ricochet off hard surfaces – wearing safety glasses is therefore essential.
