Our experience with this air rifle

When we first got our hands on the Rattler Long Strike at Shogun, the solid feel was immediately noticeable. The combination of polymer and metal feels robust without being unnecessarily heavy. On the shooting range, this air rifle proved to be a real powerhouse – with 590 joules of power, you feel the pure energy with every pull of the trigger. The semi-automatic system works flawlessly, even during rapid firing sequences, and the bullpup design keeps everything nicely balanced.

Technology and performance

As a PCP air rifle, the Rattler operates on compressed air for consistent performance. The generous 700cc air reservoir can be filled up to a maximum of 300 bar, allowing you to fire plenty of shots. The titanium magazine holds 12 pellets in the substantial 11.4mm/.45 calibre. Use and handling

This air rifle feels familiar from the very first moment. The single action trigger has a pleasant pull, and the safety catch is exactly where you expect it to be. At 4.17 kg, the weight is well distributed thanks to the bullpup design. The AR-15 grip is fully adjustable, and with the Picatinny and Weaver rails you can easily mount your favourite optics or accessories. Whether you are left- or right-handed, this air rifle adapts to your shooting style.
